The Owner of Lonavala resort kept stalking, despite the victim’s objections until she finally revealed about the ordeal.

The prominent Owner of Lonavala resort was arrested for sexually assaulting a minor. The victim who hails from Ghatkopar, recieved multiple threats from the 56 year old accused. The man who runs the resort in Lonavala, kept molesting the minor since December 2022. The case came to light and filed under IPC and POCSO Act.
The minor’s parents who own a tourism and travelling business in Ghatkopar, had conducted multiple business meetings with the accused for last two years. During these visits, he made it a habit to send inappropriate messages to the girl.
The minor kept rejecting his lewd advances and obscene texts until she opened up about the harrasment to her parents.But the Owner of Lonavala resort was determined on his shame full act.
Last week, the Owner of Lonavala resort kissed the girl without her consent. The incident took place in a mall in Ghatkopar, when the girl’s mother left them alone to run some errands. The minor, in view of confessing about the harrasment, further told that despite her objections, the accused kept threatening her as she blocked his texts. He even threatened her to keep quiet about his actions, or else she will face consequences, along with the downfall of her mother’s business.
The girl and her parents complained at Pant Nagar Police station, where the authorities registered a case under 354 (Outraging the modesty of a woman) 354D (Stalking) and 506 (Criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code with addition to the relevant sections of POCSO Act.Owner of Lonavala resort is now under custody.
